Those interested in finding out at least some things about Arnold Schwarzenegger’s divorce from Maria Shriver can still do so from a reliable source: Arnold himself. The former Governor is now writing a memoir.Throughout the media scandal that accompanied the breakup of his marriage – and that involved an affair with a former housekeeper and a lovechild of whose existence he’d known for years – Arnold has kept relatively
mum.
The only times he broke his silence were those when he issued statements to set straight some of the most ridiculous rumors making the rounds, as we also noted on several previous occasions.
Chances are he will have his side of the story out once he publishes his autobiography, on which he’s been working for a long time,
People magazine reports.
However, expect nothing truly scandalous, because this is not a tell-all.
“The actor and former California governor is writing an autobiography that will touch upon his recent breakup with Maria Shriver while also covering his childhood in Austria and his careers as a bodybuilder, action star and politician,” the celebrity magazine writes.
An unnamed source confirms for People that the book is not a tell-all, therefore will not go into the saucy details of Arnold’s personal life.
“He has been keeping notes and working on the book for over a year. He didn’t want to write his autobiography while he was governor,” his spokesperson says for the mag.
The book is tentatively called “Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story” but a release date for it is yet to be announced.
Still, it’s bound to be a very interesting read, a rep for publisher Simon & Schuster promises.
“Nobody has a life story even close to his. Truly, Arnold is one of the most fascinating figures of our time,” the spokesperson says of the upcoming release, as per the same publication.
