Arnold Schwarzenegger Bonds with Secret Son

He fathered a child with a housekeeper and, according to reports, he probably didn’t know about it until just recently. Arnold Schwarzenegger is taking active steps to make up for lost time by bonding with his son, it has emerged.

Shortly after Arnold and Maria Shriver announced their separation, news broke that the reason for the split was his affair with a housekeeper who had been with the family for almost a decade.

The wave of outrage picked up speed when word got out that he even had a child with the woman in question. When Maria learned all this, she did not hesitate to put an end to their relationship and move out of the house.

Now that she’s filed for divorce and it’s clear that there’s no way to save his marriage anymore, Arnold is trying to fix at least the relationship with his secret son, sources tell Radar Online, as cited by PopEater.

“Arnold wants to spend time with Joseph and play more of an active role in his life. In a way, Arnold is relieved that he no longer has to hide the fact that he is Joseph’s father,” says a spy.

So happy is Schwarzenegger with this positive twist on things that he’s even asked his son and his former mistress to come visit him at his Brentwood, California home, where he aims to bond with the 13-year-old boy.

Things are going in the right direction for father and son, the spy believes.

“Arnold apologized to Joseph because he had to miss the last few weeks of school, and Joseph said he had no problem missing school and could forgive him for that. It was a really tender moment between father and son,” says the insider.

Arnold is now hoping that, once school starts again, Joseph will be able to go back without being hounded by the paparazzi, the report further notes.
