Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel will see the release of a special cooperative demo next week, on March 12, which allows players to go through a special mission from the upcoming title filled with intense shootouts and explosions.

Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel is the next installment in the shooter series that once again emphasizes cooperative action with two players taking on the role of agents Alpha and Bravo, who make their way through Mexico in a dramatic fight against an evil drug cartel.

Now, after releasing multiple videos and details about the shooter, EA has revealed yet another trailer while confirming that a special cooperative demo will be released next week.

More specifically, the free trial will be made available on March 12 for the PlayStation 3, via the PS Store, and the Xbox 360, via the Xbox Live Marketplace.

The demo allows players to complete a special assignment that includes many firefights and some really impressive explosions, so check out its description below, via an official statement.

"In the demo, players will step into the boots of private military contractors Alpha and Bravo as they embark on a mission to rescue a kidnapped politician while diffusing an additional hostage situation. From the bottom floor of a dangerous drug lab, to the rooftops of a sky rise, Alpha and Bravo must infiltrate the Cartel's stronghold and overcome hordes of cartel members, all the while working together to survive."

"With the lives of others on the line, the dynamic duo will need to split up as one player runs into battle face-to-face with their opposition, while the other takes to the sky in a helicopter to man a mini gun and provide cover. Complete with epic explosions, massive destruction and the brand new Overkill feature, gamers will be able to experience the adrenaline and palm sweating action."

The full Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel game will be released on March 26, in North America, and March 29, in Europe, for PS3 and Xbox 360.
