Officials state that the sketch is not a true depiction of the felon

It may seem that Lamar County's sketch artist may need a few more skills or a slight improvement of the ones he claims to have, as his latest sketch resembles a cartoon-like type of felon.

Two women robbed by a man in East Post Oak reported the incident to the Lamar County Precinct and offered a description of the attacker, that was posted online in order to have more chances of finding the perpetrator.

He was described as a 6-feet-tall man, between the age of 25 and 30, with little to no facial hair and a rather muscular build, notes eParisExtra. He also had a straight nose and no flare in the nostrils, short black hair and a round face, both arms covered in tattoos and a distinct red ink work on his neck.

The felon attacked the two women in the evening while they were approaching their homes. He held the two victims at knife point while robbing them of their belongings and then fled the scene on foot.

The suspect was recreated in a composite sketch in order to encourage the public to offer any details they may have on the matter, and help officers apprehend the individual.

But the so-called depiction may just encourage people to offer information on a cartoon character as it barely resembles a real human being. Either the women's description was very shady or the sketch artist failed in his attempt to properly recreate the suspect.

The site, probably aware of the “sketchy-sketch” warns citizens that the portrait is not a true depiction of the suspect, but only a likeness, to make people's job easier if they happen to spot the man around the city, as he is still at large.

The man from the depiction released by the Texas police lacks lips, irises and even eyebrows and it is fit for a silent animated movie. This particular portrait will for sure find a nice place in the world's worst police sketch artists' drawings collection.
