Found out how this 65% beer is made, by the Brewmeister Brewery in Scotland

Armageddon is the world's strongest beer, with 65% alcohol content. The beer made at Scotland’s Brewmeister Brewery is stronger than whiskey or vodka.

This supersonic beer is made out of crystal malt, wheat, flaked oats, and 100% Scottish spring water. The contents are frozen during the brewing process, and the remaining product is a high alcohol content beer, OddityCentral reports.

The frozen water is simply removed, as the alcohol in the beer doesn't freeze. The resulting beer is more viscous than it is liquid.

“The beer has a viscous quality to it, due to the special freeze fermentation method we use to produce such a high alcoholic beer. [...] It is closer to a liquor than a beer, but it is classified as a beer and we are pleased with it,” company co-founder, Lewis Shand says.

By comparison, a glass of Budweiser has 5% alcohol, a glass of wine 12%, while a glass of whiskey or vodka would have about 40%.
