Czech developer Bohemia Interactive has decided that it's not enough for its players to play god by deciding who lives and who dies in the latest installment of their military shooter, Arma 3, so it upped the game with the release of the Zeus DLC.

The newly released downloadable content pack allows a player to manipulate a multiplayer session in real time, and is available to download on Steam, appearing in the Steam library of all existing Arma 3 owners.

The DLC adds a little more excitement to Arma 3, following the release of the third and final campaign episode on March 20, which concluded the story mode of the open world tactical shooter.

Zeus allows one user, the "Game Master," to control the map from a top-down perspective as a multiplayer match goes on, being able to spawn units, set objectives, change weather conditions, start dramatic music and much more, all on the fly.

The new DLC allows Game Masters to either create a new scenario from scratch or to manipulate existing game modes, including co-op, team deathmatch and sector control.

Additionally, to celebrate the release of Zeus, Bohemia Interactive is hosting a launch party livestream, taking place on Saturday, April 12, at 17:00 GMT.
