Developer Bohemia Interactive has finally announced the release date for the third and last chapter in the single-player campaign for their first-person shooter Arma 3, scheduled to come out on March 20.

The military shooter's single-player campaign was spread out over three different episodes, titled according to military fashion using the codenames Survive, Adapt and Win.

The last story missions will see the conclusion of the adventure of the protagonist, an infantryman named Ben Kerry, and will offer a combat simulation on a much larger scale than ever before.

During the previous episodes, players have had to survive on their own after the defeat of friendly forces during a failed NATO operation, and now it's time to tip the scales and deploy all the skills and experience they've gathered along the way.

The developers said that at the heart of Episode 3's gameplay lies the tactical freedom players are afforded, together with the massive combined arms engagements they are thrown into.

The conclusion of the single-player campaign also comes with three new vehicles for players to make use of, the A-164 Wipeout and the To-199 Neophron aircraft and the Tempest, a truck fitted with special armor, to withstand landmines.

The content will be made available to all Arma 3 owners, through an automatic Steam update.
