Developer Bohemia Interactive announces that its main project ArmA 3 has been delayed for an unspecified period as the team focuses on internal changes that will result in higher quality for the finished product.

Joris-Jan van ‘t Land is the new project leader working on ArmA 3.

He is quotedby VG247 as saying, “We’ve been in the process of implementing changes that will help us innovate as a studio under unexpected circumstances – facing problems we simply couldn’t have imagined.”

Daniel Musil, the former leader of the ArmA 3 team, has now left the studio.

ArmA 3 is a military simulation that focuses on two small islands off the coast of Greece.

Bohemia Interactive continues to work on the standalone launch of the Day Z mod and a clear launch schedule for ArmA 3 will be revealed in 2013.
