Aris OS is a Live CD based on the popular Gentoo Linux distribution. In the past, Aris OS was known as Reaper OS, and it is developed by the same people that developed Reaper OS. Aris OS can help you perform your everyday tasks like read the mail, browse the web, watch videos, listen to music, chat with family and friends, rip your Audio CD and a lot more!

The developers plan to release soon a hard disk installer, so you can install this distro on your machine if you like it. The Aris OS Installer is under development right now, but maybe with the next release, it will be available.

Gnome 2.16 will also be available in the next version of Aris OS, along with the support for AMD64 architecture.
