14 DAY TRIAL // Ariana Grande, the 20-year-old star that landed the latest cover of Complex magazine, just shared the spooky encounter she had with a demon during the summer.
While shooting for the cover of the magazine, Ariana discussed a variety of subjects, starting with her weird paranormal experience, her love life and going all the way to supporting Miley Cyrus. Some might argue that the demon encounter must have affected her more than she knew.
During a visit in Kansas, Ariana visited a haunted castle and the thrill she experienced there made her curious for more. The next night, she planned on going to Stull Cemetery, the place known as one of the seven gates to hell on Earth. Incredibly bold of her, we could say.
Her plans did not go as expected because, on the way there, she started feeling less herself. “I felt sick, overwhelming feeling of negativity over the whole car and we smelled sulfur, which is the sign of a demon,” she tells Complex magazine. Maybe she just watched too much "Supernatural."
Besides the fact that they were smelling sulfur, that being the first supernatural sign, a random fly appeared in the car, out of nowhere, counting as the second demon manifestation for the young singer. The two signs freaked Ariana out and, while deciding on aborting the trip, she rolled down the window and apologized to the spirits, “We apologize. We didn't mean to disrupt your peace.”
Still, Ariana wouldn't go home without a souvenir, so after she apologized, she snapped a picture, in which three distinct faces appeared.
She swears they were “they faces of textbook demons” but, sadly, she deleted the picture because of some weird errors that scared her even more. When trying to send the photo to her manager, a message appeared saying “This file can't be sent, it's 666 megabytes.”
And the spooky story gets even spookier. About two weeks ago, Ariana was having a hard time falling asleep because, every time she closed her eyes, she would start seeing disturbing red flashing images and hear loud rumbles in her ear.
One night, while struggling to fall asleep, she saw this “massive black matter” right next to her. “I started crying. I was on the phone like 'What do I do, what do I do?' and they said, 'Tell it to eff off.' I thought, I'm not going to do that. It's going to upset it, so I'm just going to chill and not feed into it because all it wants is fear. It feeds on fear,” Ariana explains to Complex magazine.
After watching the black cloud move around the room, Ariana fell asleep. The other night, a friend came over to stay with her and experienced the same thing she did a night before. Hopefully, after all this, Ariana will stop wandering around hell gates and disturbing the spirits, because it seems her apology didn't really work.
Moving to happier things, Ariana is now officially dating The Wanted's Nathan Sykes. Maybe he can protect her from the nasty demons keeping her up at night.
