14 DAY TRIAL // Hot on the heels of her success with “Problem” that is still ruling the airwaves, Ariana Grande is already hard at work on her next video for the song “Break Free.” Eager to show fans what to expect, Ariana posted a short teaser video on her Instagram account.
The caption for the video draws attention to the fact that the premiere for “Break Free” is only four days away. Fans responded immediately to the short snippet, and all of the feedback was positive.
The short video shows Ariana wearing some futuristic face paint designs that seem to be playing on the whole alien spaceship theme. This is reinforced by what she revealed in a previous interview with Ryan Seacrest.
Speaking about the visual for the song, Grande confessed that “It's inspired by Jane Fonda in ‘Barbarella’ and ‘Star Wars’ and space.” It seems the singer is keeping with the retro theme started with “Problem,” which saw her take on the clothes of 60s go-go dancers.
The song “Break Free” is the second release from Ariana's new album, “My Everything,” which is supposed to hit the shelves on August 25. At the moment, the singer is still enjoying time at the top of the Billboard chart thanks to her collaboration song with Iggy Azalea.
