A hacker that uses the online moniker Libero, a member of the Argentinian hacktivist group Team Hacker Argentino, has breached and defaced several websites hosted on .gov.ar domains.

The targeted government websites belong to the municipality of the Almada Colony (colonialmada.gov.ar), the town of Mayu Sumaj (mayusumaj.gov.ar), the municipality of Chajan, and the town of Casa Grande (casagrande.gov.ar).

The sites of the municipality of Quilino (quilino.gov.ar), the town of Mi Granja (migranja.gov.ar) and the town of Bulnes (bulnes.gov.ar) have also been defaced.

“This is a message for all [expletive] politicians. Be aware that we are watching you! We no longer want your alleged ‘democracy.’ Viva Argentina,” the hacker wrote on the defaced websites.

“We've proved again that your systems are so good,” he added.

At the time of writing, all the impacted websites still display the defacement pages.
