Slitherine announced 2 new games in development. Arena: Warriors is a fantasy RPG/RTS, while Commander - Europe at War is a high level turn based strategy game set in
WWII.
Development Director Iain McNeil said, "We're really excited to announce these 2 new games. Both were very well received at E3 and we know when the players get a chance to try them out they'll be addicted! Expect more news from us in the near future as this is not all that's going on at Slitherine HQ!"
Arena: Warriors is a role-playing strategy game set in a rich fantasy world. The game is a unique blend of traditional RPG and
RTS genres, where players can recruit, equip and train huge armies to fight in real time in epic 3D battles. The player chooses varied missions and quests from a story driven campaign, developing their fledgling army into an elite fighting force strong enough to defeat the evil threatening their world. The training, equipment and appearance of individual units can be customized by the player, allowing them to craft their own army.
Commander - Europe at War is the first in a series of high level turn based strategy games. It is being jointly developed by Firepower Entertainment and Slitherine Software. The first game spans WW2, allowing players to control the axis or allied forces through the entire war in the European Theatre. Can Germany's rise be stopped or will the jackboots of the SS march through London?
