Together with other Lenny Kravitz tracks

It seems we can't go one day without saying something about Rock Band 2 or Harmonix. After reporting that Rock Band 3 will not be coming in 2009, probably because of the amount of work needed to make that Beatles music game, and telling you a bit about the way players of Rock Band 2 on the Nintendo Wii will be receiving DLC tracks, we're happy to inform you that Lenny Kravitz is the latest rock star to get his tracks featured in the music simulation game.

Harmonix and MTV Games are saying that the rocker, who became famous because of the smooth sound combining rock with blues licks and infusing them with lyrical power, will be offering four tracks that can be downloaded on both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 to be played.

The unimaginatively named “Lenny Kravitz Pack 01” will include “Freedom Train,” “Mr. Cab Driver” and “Let Love Rule” from his 1989 album, while also adding his most famous track, “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” which was originally released in 1993.

The whole pack that is set to make its way to the Xbox Live Marketplace on January, 13 and to the PlayStation Store on January 15, will cost 560 Microsoft Points or 6.99 dollars and if you plan on buying only one of the tracks featured, be prepared to pay 160 Microsoft Points or 1.99 dollars.

The Rock Band Music Store is also getting two other singles on the same date. They are taken from little known bands that Harmonix is promoting by offering their music for Rock Band 2. Heavy metal band Megasus will try to impress with its single that bears the same name, while Honest Bob and the Factory-to-Dealer Incentives are offering their single “Entangled.” The tracks will cost 0.99 dollars each.
