Ubisoft has confirmed that the upcoming Arctic Strike DLC for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has been delayed and won't make its initial July 3 release date.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier came out on the PS3 and Xbox 360 last month and more recently on the PC, where it encountered quite a few problems.

As such, in order to make sure that the new Arctic Strike DLC for Future Soldier won't cause new issues, Ubisoft has revealed that it has delayed its launch for some last minute polishing.

The DLC, which brings new multiplayer maps and quite a few other things, will still be released sometime in July, according to the French company.

Until then, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier players will have to make do with the maps and modes already included in the shooter.
