Arctic decided to break cover and offer something new for the consumer market in terms of cooling and casings. The company came out and unveiled not one, but two distinct items, a computer case and a cooling solution aimed at hard disk drives. The products go by the names of Silentium T11 and HC 01-TC, respectively, and are described as “an ideal combination” for users wishing to “build a computer on their own, given that these new products are well-made in terms of their durability and functionality.

The HC 01-TC is a hard disk cooler that has the form of an internal enclosure that can house 3.5-inch SATA HDDs or SSDs. It measures 147 by 42 by 187 mm and fits inside a 5.25-inch bay. Furthermore, it is outfitted with absorption foam that has the role of reducing noise and, of course, vibrations. As for the cooling itself, it is done by a 40mm fan whose rotary speed hovers between 1,600 RPM and 4,600 RPM.

The other offering Arctic prepared, the Silentium T11, measures 49 (L) x 43 (H) x 19 (W) cm, is made of steel and comes in two versions, one colored black and another one in white. It features four exposed 5.25-inch bays with a tool-free construction, which allows optical drives to be installed without the need for tools.

The case also boasts a pair of 120mm temperature-controlled fans. As for I/O capabilities, Arctic threw in front-placed USB and audio ports, two of each to be exact.

The HC 01-TC is slated for launch sometime in late August and will have a price tag o about $22.95, which is the equivalent of 17.95 Euro. As for the chassis, Arctic will unleash it in October and will ask for $59.95, the equivalent of 49.95 Euro (without VAT) in exchange for it.
