Another set of headphones has appeared, one that Arctic made and hopes will be appealing enough, design- and performance-wise, that it will prompt people to upgrade.

The product bears the name of P402 and, though it is every bit as large as a standard PC headset, it can hook up to smartphones too (thanks to a bundled 3.5mm adapter).

Speaking of which, the microphone itself has a very high sensitivity, for clear conversations.

As for the earcups, they have large, comfortable supra-aural pads with a measure of noise cancellation (passive, owed to the material and size).

Sales should already be underway, so check with your local retailer. The price is $49.95, or 39.95 Euro if you live in Europe. Finally, the warranty is two years.
