Arctic Cooling just announced the launch of a new range of personal computer cases that come with high quality and energy efficiency power supply units, the Silentium T ECO 80 line of products. Ten such high performance computer cases are now available from Arctic Cooling and they are all offering enough power for the stable operation of a computer system powered by an Intel or Advanced Micro Devices quad core central processing unit that also integrates a dual graphics card
configuration.
The Silentium T ECO 80 line comes with a power supply unit that has a nominal power rating of 550W and which is fully compliant with the latest ECO 80 standard that requires a high energy efficiency. The new line of products from Artic Cooling comes with a minimum energy efficiency of 82 percent and a medium efficiency of 86 percent under normal workloads.

As from the protection side, the Arctic Cooling's Silentium T ECO 80 also comes equipped with an active PFC that has a typical power factor of 99 percent that not only helps reducing energy costs but also increases the ''reliability of the PC system by generating less heat, reducing the required fan speed and noise level, increasing component life and improving the comfort of the users environment'', according to the manufacturing company.

A new design and engineering concept was used on the Silentium T ECO 80 range as they all come based on a thermodynamic concept that allows for a better air flow as the position of the power supply units has been completely rearranged in order to boost the ventilation of the critical hardware components like central processing unit, mainboard chipset and graphics card.

The airflow is much increased thanks to the use of the silent and anti vibration Arctic Cooling smart fans and the operating noise of the computer system is further reduced by the presence of the ''HDD muffler'' that according to the news site fudzilla, almost completely eliminates the vibrations and noises produced by the spinning hard disk drives while also allowing them to operate at an optimal temperature level.

The ten brand new Arctic Cooling Silentium T ECO 80 computer cases are now readily available and users may purchase them from retail partners with five new front panel designs. The manufacturer suggested price for one of the new computer chassis starts at $134.95.
