Do you want a 4G tablet but you know they are usually much more expensive than their Wi-Fi counterparts? Well, you are correct in thinking so. However, low-cost device maker Archos has your back on this.

Its latest slate baptized Archos 80 Helium 4G is one of the cheapest tablets with LTE available on the market, as it is sold for around €200 / $265 (as seen at Notebook Italia).

Archos says the device is capable of reaching download speeds of 150Mbps and has been designed to answer the growing needs of consumers who demand more and more of mobile devices.

The tablet has an 8-inch screen with 1024 x 768 pixel resolution and draws life from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz and fitted with 1GB of RAM.

The machine also has two cameras like you’d expect with any tablet (2MP on the back and 5MP in front) and comes with Archos Video Player pre-installed on it. The company also says customers will be able to tap into the goodness of Google Play Store, but we’re not being told which version of Android we have onboard (update: it's Android 4.3 Jelly Bean).

The tablet is already available for purchase for the price mentioned above and Archos will most likely showcase it at IFA 2014 next month, so keep an eye out for it.
