The 4.0.28 firmware version is compatible with Archos’ 80 G9 and 101 G9 Tablets. This will fix an interference issue of CEC – which has been detected as DPAD in games like Max Payne – on the Android 4.0 ICS OS.

The package will fix the playback for some MP4 files and the aspect ratio on some H264 files. Moreover, the touchscreen has been tweaked so that it would ensure a proper wake up when it is powered back on.

The update process of your device is quite easy. Simply connect the tablet to your computer through a USB cable and copy the downloadable .AOS file into the root folder of the device’s storage.

After the copying is finished and the USB cable is unplugged, the device will automatically recognize the new update file and start the upgrade process.
