If you are one of the players who enjoy Codemasters' massively multiplayer online game ArchLord, you will be really pleased to hear that now Codies' title is bigger and better than ever - everything for free! And knowing that about 750,000 players have registered accounts there, I'm sure this announcement will be followed by a real party!

This brand new expansion, named Episode 3: Spirits Awakening, is said to add an extra 30% game content (don't you just love exact figures?), including 3 brand new zones to explore and no less than 80 new skills and abilities. A pretty big leap, I might say, and I am sure the fans will agree - we all know that consoles would never offer such big changes for free.

Ed Relf, director of marketing at Codemasters Online said, "This is an exciting time in the ongoing development of ArchLord. ArchLord has never been more popular with almost 750,000 players now playing with this number increasing almost 20,000 new players each week! ArchLord is going from strength to strength and we are assessing the need right now to open new servers just to cope with the increased levels of demand for this great, free MMORPG".

ArchLord is a free MMORPG that uses, like most of the MMOs out there, a microtransaction system. In the game, the player is challenged to raise armies and compete against others to become the only ArchLord and practically control the entire game. I doubt there are other titles that offer so much power to their players, in such a fun way! And now, thanks to this new update, even more things are possible!

Episode 3: Spirits Awakening is available for free via an automatic online patch (for those who already have the game) or included within the full game download from the official website, for the new players. So it's a piece of cake to get that much new content!

I have spent a lt of money on Archlord as i use mobile broadband on my mobile phone three.co.uk and pay 10 pounds for 1gb or 15 pounds for 3gb etc like im sure many others have? This is the reason i paid for the game instead of using all my net useage and still had to update over 1gb before the new expansion came out and now codemasters have banned thousands of accounts claiming it was to get rid of scammers bots etc and my new account was one of them and i have done nothing wrong they say it is something to do with my ips, why wait till expansion comes out then ban thousands all at once and why where there thousands of scammers etc walking around on the game and not banned when they where caught originally.I feel codemasters have messed up and banned accounts by mistake as they are amatures trying to make mmorpg ,makes you wonder why it became free to play obviously not enough players!I am so angry with the way i have been treated after spending money on codemasters other titles for years.NC soft and ArenaNet makers and hosts of Guild Wars would never have theese problems i have played that fine with same ips and no problem a lot of people are being ignored when asking why there banned to if you are one of theese people plz post a reply on here so maybe we can get something done together.

unfortunatelly now archlord belongs to Webzen! now the only thing i can say is that this game is a reall bad game now! lag, bugs, and a lot of item problem! many people have lost their items and none of webzen team doesnt care about that, they just keep doing events and enjoy money other pay to them! but the only reason they took archlord from codemasters are money! they dont care about people they dont care about players! only thing in their minds are money!!
