Archlord Ends Beta with Epic Stress Test PvP Event

Being published by Codemasters, Archlord is the player versus player oriented MMORPG in development at Korean NHN Games studios, due for release on October 1st. The moment of truth approaches as Archlord's beta testing phase is coming to an end, and developers herald a massive and lengthy event to end it all in style. An epic stress test is thus planned to offer the last opportunity for people to join the game servers before final release. While final location and time are still to be announced, preparations for large scale PvP battles are underway, guaranteed to make the last day testing day one of the most memorable in Archlord's incipient history.

Basically, the event signals the beginning of an open beta testing phase, where everyone is welcomed to join the game and try out its features for free. You will need this keyand then follow the instructions to create your character and then enter the BETA. Four player run guilds have been chosen and are now accepting extra recruits, in what closely resembles factional warfare. The following champions of Cantra handle the new arrivals: Brumhart - Champion of Zylok, Ziann Champion of Anchorville, Evengarda Champion of Tullan and Gaiahon Champion of Terranoa. With just four guilds taking part in the event and the Champions being already named, it should come as no surprise if players actually get to see the first Archlord being chosen prior to retail launch. Becoming the Archlord, supreme ruler of immense power over the land, is the game's main goal and incentive for playing.

In order to join the battle, one must join one of the guilds by sending an in-game message to one of the champions above. NHN might have been taken by surprise, since the private message functions for those players is currently unavailable, probably due to the humongous number of queries. It is expected the event will act as a stress test on Archlord's hardware capabilities. Developers say there is enough time to make the necessary hardware adjustments, should things go wrong, so get on your beta key and charge the enemy on your warhorse.
