Webzen is currently working on a sequel to its massively multiplayer online role-playing game Archlord, and the company has just opened registrations for the closed beta test of the upcoming game.

Archlord 2 is a medieval fantasy role-playing game that takes place in a wondrous and dangerous world named Chantra, where players will be able to join the never-ending conflict between the Azuni and the Crunn, the game's two opposing factions.

Archlord players and other interested users can use their existing Webzen, gPotato.com or gPotato.eu accounts, as well as their Facebook profiles.

Note that registration does not guarantee entry in the closed beta, but merely enters an account in a key lottery that will net select lucky players with access to the beta test, scheduled to begin in June.

Potential participants can simply pre-register their account on the game's official website and can also join the additional daily draw on the official Archlord 2 Facebook page in order to increase their chances of being selected.

Archlord 1 players are encouraged to pre-register with their existing accounts, which would offer them an extra incentive. Webzen guarantees them access to the upcoming Archlord 2 closed beta test in June, provided that they logged into the game at least once in the last three months, as a reward that honors the commitment of the Archlord community.

Additionally, Webzen encourages all future participants to share their Archlord 2 experience with the world, by not requiring players to agree to a non-disclosure agreement, and thus being able to record and distribute in-game footage.
