Open source file and archive manager PeaZip 5.3.1, which can be used to extract, create, and convert multiple archives at once, has just been released.

The PeaZip developers have already integrated a large number of features and changes in the 5.x branch, not to mention the previous 5.3.0 update which also brought some very interesting changes such as an improved navigation bar, better inclusion/exclusion filters, a synthetic archive information function, pre-set compression profiles for single-click switching between most common compression tasks and more.

On the other hand, the 5.3.1 update is much smaller and only brings better handling of the double file extension when the user is creating archives, some update Windows context menu localization scripts, and various other bug fixes.

PeaZip is one of the best applications of its kind on the Linux platform and the developers have been implementing many Linux-related changes. The developers provide binary and source files for the new releases, which means that you can install them right away, without having to wait for the distributions to update its repositories with the latest version of PeaZip.

A complete list of changes and updates can be found in the official announcement. You can download PeaZip 5.3.1 right now from Softpedia.
