Architecture magazine CLOG is featuring Apple in its latest quarterly issue that sells for $15 plus shipping. Buyers will get 150 pages of stories and images about Apple and architecture, commentaries from one of the company's three founders, Ronald Wayne, and a humorous take by Colbert Report writer Frank Lesser.

“With one of the largest American office projects in history underway in Cupertino, CLOG: Apple introduces the first comprehensive discussion of Apple’s architecture,” say the magazine’s authors.

Buyers will be greeted by relevant commentaries and observations from over 50 international contributors, ranging from architects, designers, and cartoonists, to comedians, engineers and others.

The mag features an examination of Steve Jobs’s Eichler-designed childhood home, the evolution of Apple’s retail stores and their breathtaking designs and symbolism, glass engineering, etc.

Most importantly, CLOG: Apple offers a take on the urban implications of Apple’s new Cupertino headquarters design, as well as some highlighted reactions to the spaceship building by notable architects and critics.

Another notable highlight is the interview with one of Apple Computer’s original three founders, Ronald Wayne.

“On 7 June 2011, Steve Jobs presented Apple Campus 2 to the Cupertino City Council. Due to Apple's high profile - not to mention the scale and iconic nature of Foster + Partners's design - the online reaction to the ‘spaceship’ was immediate and strong,” GLOG authors say.

“While Apple has been building retail stores throughout the world for over a decade, discussion, even among architects, has typically focused on the company's famed product design. With one of the largest American office projects in history underway in Cupertino, it's time to talk about Apple and architecture,” says the magazine.
