Trion Worlds has revealed that the western localization of the popular Korean massively multiplayer online role-playing game ArcheAge is nearly done.

Developer XL Games has described ArcheAge as a “sandpark” experience, a hybrid between a sandbox open world environment and a more tailored theme park type of affair.

Trion CEO Scott Hartsman states that the user interface is about 80 percent readable, and most of the quest text has been translated as well, but there are still some revisions to be made, in order to make it sound natural in English, as reported by MMORPG.

According to Trion Worlds, the English version of the game is currently in a private alpha test, allowing the developers and a limited number of friends and family members to try out the western localization, in order to note the key aspects that require full functionality before a public alpha testing phase can commence.

There is no information pertaining to an eventual release date, but at least things are moving in the right direction.
