ArchBang 2012.05 is now available for grabs, but users who already have the operating system installed and up-to-date don't have to upgrade.

Highlights of 2012.05:

· QDarkStudio4 default GTK theme has been added; · Shotwell picture viewer has been added; · Conky has been improved; · Epdfview has replaced zathura; · A simple clean tint2 panel was added; · Broadcom wireless driver was added; · VirtualBox-archlinux-additions were implemented; · Mobile Broadband modem capability was added to Network Manager.

According to the developers, ArchBang will have four releases per year which means that more updates will be available for the users.

"Due to upgrades and improvements to the Arch Linux system, ArchBang may release unofficial updates between official releases to prevent excessive workarounds", the official announcement states. Download ArchBang 2012.05 right now from Softpedia.
