Manjaro Xfce 0.8.9 RC1, a Linux distribution based on well-tested snapshots of the Arch Linux repositories and 100% compatible with Arch, has been released and is available for testing.

Manjaro has become one of the most successful Arch-based distributions out there, and the Xfce edition is just one of the many supported flavors.

“We focused again on thus, the graphical installer, fixed issues regarding UEFI installations, updated our partitioning engine and speeded up the installation process,” the developers note.
