Aravis, a glib/gobject-based library for video acquisition using Genicam cameras, which currently only implements an ethernet camera protocol used for industrial cameras, is now at version 0.2.0.

So far, Aravis has been tested successfully with Basler, AlliedVision, Smartek and Dalsa cameras.

Highlights of Aravis 0.2.0:

• Support for BAYER_GB_8 images used by ImageingSource DFK 23G445 cameras (Matthias) has been added; • The consistency of order of pixel format display names (Jure) has been fixed; • Parsing of hexadecimal address/length with 0x prefix in Genicam file URL has been fixed; • Parallel compilation (make -j) has been fixed. • autovideosink is used instead of xvimagesink, for systems without XV extension; • auto gain, auto exposure, x and y offset properties, have been added.
