In some Facebook scams you really get to see the much promised video

Facebook members are advised to beware of the latest scam that roams the social network, promising users a video the presents an “embarrassing situation during the live broadcast TV sports broadcaster.” Well, at least that’s what the message says if you speak fluent Arabic.

For those who don’t, they may be tempted to click on the link after seeing a young news reporter taking a peek down her own blouse.

The bottom line is that users who encounter such posts on Facebook should completely ignore them since the links they contain lead to a webpage which requests them to download a video codec in order to watch the clip, Commtouch Café informs.

While this scheme is designed to earn cybercrooks tons of money from the sites they redirect victims to, the real video, that’s not so embarrassing, can be safely viewed on YouTube or in this article.
