Tecmo Koei has announced that Ar noSurge: Ode to an Unborn Star will be the first game in Gust's Surge Concerto series to benefit from an English localization.

The game will feature both European and Japanese voiceovers, allowing players to choose between the two, Siliconera points out.

The role-playing game features song magic, and as such its combat system is similar to the one found in the Ar tonelico series, engaging multiple waves of enemies, with a main character carrying on fights directly while the heroine sits back and acts as a support and ranged character.

Ar noSurge: Ode to an Unborn Star also features returning characters from Ciel noSurge and other Gust role-playing games, and the action will follow the adventures of a society that's been cruising around space for close to two millennia.

Ar noSurge: Ode to an Unborn Star will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system from Sony, on September 26, both in digital and retail all across Europe. Publisher Tecmo Koei says that it is yet to decide on a North American release.

The publisher has also failed to make any announcements regarding the PlayStation Vita version of the game, which has recently been announced in Japan.
