Oddly enough, it uses thermal grease for the RAM chips

Full-cover water blocks are very good for the health of your graphics card because they can keep both the GPU and the memory chips at low temperatures, even if you overclock the card (within reason anyway).

The new such cooler from Aqua Computer, however, is a bit unusual compared to the majority of others because of how it makes contact with the RAM chips.

Normally, heatsinks and water blocks use thermal pads for those chips, or tiny heatsinks separate from the rest. Here, though, the company chose thermal grease for some reason.

We can't fault it though. The grease should enable an even better cooling performance than normal.

There are six different models of the kyographics, all made of CNC-milled electrolytic copper with 10 mm thickness and a micro structure with a 0.5mm grid over the GPU area. What sets them apart is the material of the base (plain copper or a nickel plated base) and the top (engraved stainless steel cover, a transparent acrylic glass cover and a grey version of the latter).

The price is of €89.90 to €109.90 / $113 to $139, with a passive backplate sold separately for €24.90 / $31. Finally, an active backplate with protected heatpipe system (XCS) has a price of €39.90 / $50.57.
