Blizzard has posted a brand new April Fools joke, this time confirming that it's making an actual fighting game called Blizzard Outcasts: Vengeance of the Vanquished, which will star some of the secondary characters and minions seen in franchises like Starcraft, Diablo, or Warcraft.

Blizzard has always gone to great efforts on April 1 to delight and amuse its fans and already the studio has confirmed that it's renaming Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void into Herald of the Stars because the HotS acronym is so popular.

Now, it's confirmed that it's making for the first time in its history a fighting game called Blizzard Outcasts: Vengeance of the Vanquished.

The game will star various secondary characters from big Blizzard franchises like Diablo, Starcraft or Warcraft, including Deckard Cain, Arcturus Mengsk, the Treasure Goblin, Kael’thas Sunstrider, or the Terran Battlecruiser.

All sorts of different battle stages are possible, from Tristram to Caldeum, or Westmarch, and there's even a special game controller designed by Blizzard with a huge amount of buttons and a credit card slot for easy microtransactions.
