App discoverability service Appsfire has been promoted to version 4.3 to include a new feature called the App Pulse, “your source for the hottest news in the App Store as it happens.”

By installing the new version users are able to know about new apps straight from the Appsfire network, which curates titles and developers for the iOS community.

The free app will include alerts for “major new versions of your favorite apps, deals that nobody should miss,” and a lot more stuff, according to the creators.

Appsfire 4.3 also gains a fresh user interface – “we’ve made it even cleaner and eye-catching,” says the design team – and users can now clear their cache to purge memory on their iPhones and iPads.

Additionally, the “Faster Downloads” function can be switched off now.
