Do you sometimes feel that you have to click your mouse too many times for operations that would be natural to be perform with
one or two clicks? Obviously, such problems lead to more dead time while you work, decreasing your productivity and even leading to health problems sometimes (I am sure that I would become a psycho without a file manager, for example, and this is just a small example...). No worries, today I found about a handy program that can help you increase your efficiency when using Mac OS, and its latest version was released yesterday...
Oh, my, it's a wizzie! Yes, I am talking about MaBaSoft's Application Wizard, a program that was built to allow you to easily open, show, hide and quit single applications or even groups of applications as easy as possible. The last version of this software, 2.1, is now able to show up application windows in the Switch menu, so you can easily bring a specific window to the front when making an application active. To enable this feature, you have to select "Show application windows" inside the Switch menu checkbox located in the Menus pane.
Now, you can also turn on "single application mode" using Application Wizard to automatically hide all inactive applications and show only the foreground of one's window. Even better than this, the recent applications can be sorted from the most recent one to the oldest one.
The Special Menu is now able to show the contents of smart folders, as well as to display recently opened or browsed folders to facilitate quick access. Along with all these, several bugs have been removed, and minor enhancements have been added.
The upgrade from versions 1.x and 2.x is free, and the program runs in English, German, Dutch, French, Spanish and Italian. Available as a Universal Binary, Application Wizard 2.1 can be purchased for a price of 18$ (single user), with site and world-wide licensing options also available.
