Last quarter, the company posted net profit of $10.2 billion / €7.45 billion

On its freshened-up Investor site, Apple today has announced plans to conduct its next conference call to disclose quarterly earnings on Tuesday, July 22, 2014.

Three weeks from now, Apple plans to hold one of its quarterly conference calls to announce the numbers generated by its various lucrative business pillars, including the iPhone and iPad lines, the Macintosh range of computers, and its iTunes Store digital distribution venue, among other endeavors.

The announcement on Apple’s Investor Relations site states, “Q3 FY14 Earnings Release. Apple plans to conduct a conference call to discuss financial results of its third fiscal quarter on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET.”

As usual, to tap the streaming audio from the conference call, interested parties will require iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running iOS 4.2 or above, any Mac computer on OS X 10.6.8 or above, or any Windows PC running QuickTime 7 or newer.

In reporting its second-quarter results in April, the company posted net profit of $10.2 billion / €7.45 billion. Apple provided the following guidance for its fiscal 2014 third quarter: revenue between $36 billion (€26.3 billion) and $38 billion (€27.7 billion); gross margin between 37 percent and 38 percent; operating expenses between $4.4 billion (€3.21 billion) and $4.5 billion (€3.28 billion); and tax rate of 26.1 percent.
