14 DAY TRIAL // Per Apple’s announcement on October 9, the latest iPhones are set to become physically available today in stores across Italy, Russia, Spain, and more than 25 additional countries.
This Friday, October 25, iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will become available in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, French West Indies, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion Island, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Thailand.
The devices have long been available for pre-order, but this marks the first time customers in these territories can walk into an Apple Retail Store with the cash in their hands, ready to leave with a brand new iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c.
Additional countries set to receive shipments of the new iPhones include Albania, Armenia, Bahrain, Colombia, El Salvador, Guam, Guatemala, India, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and UAE. These territories will open up physical sales on November 1.
iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c are currently available in the United States, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
Prices and availability will be listed on each of these countries’ Apple Online Stores, as the Cupertino giant updates its backend systems with the respective information.
iPhone 5s is the more expensive, flagship model of the phone, and features a new Gold finish (as well as a Space Gray option), the all-new Touch ID fingerprint sensor, a beefed up iSight camera on the back (with a Dual LED Flash), more processing power thanks to the 64-bit A7 chip, and other enhancements.
The iPhone 5c, previously referred to as the “budged iPhone,” is by no means a cheap alternative to the 5s, but rather a more affordable iPhone experience with a bit more personality (color options).
