Registered developers are reporting that Apple has sent out an email with instructions on how to use bots to automatically build, analyze, and test their Mac apps for OS X Mavericks.

The email, sent out to all registrants of the Apple Mac Developer Program, encourages programmers to “Take advantage of continuous integration in Xcode by creating bots with OS X Server for Mavericks that automate the process of building, analyzing, testing, and archiving your apps.”

“As the bots do their work on the remote Mac, Xcode on your development machine displays the build and test reports. Bots can generate a regular release for your QA team, be configured to execute on every check-in, and even test your apps on connected iOS devices,” Apple explains.

Application sellers looking to take advantage of this feature can simply log in with their developer credentials over at Apple’s Dev Center, request a redemption code to download OS X Server for OS X Mavericks from the Mac App Store, and get started with their work.
