Apple is giving developers updated product images and two new badges to promote their apps in 36 languages. Application sellers are instructed to sift through some documentation first and foremost.

“Available on the Mac App Store” badges are aimed at offline usage. The “Download on the Mac App Store” tag is for online use, Apple says.

These badges, which application sellers slap on their websites to drive App Store downloads of their titles, are now available and localized in 36 languages, Apple says.

Publishers are instructed to “Make sure you also review the new Mac App Store Marketing and Advertising Guidelines for important information on using badges, product images, best practices, and more.”
