AppleCare program users to get a new service starting August 12

A new AppleCare service is set to go online next Monday offering customers a 24/7 support center via online chat. You’ll be able to nag Apple with any problems you have, even at 4 AM.

A pilot program of this kind was kicked off by Apple almost a decade ago but, this time around, sources say it’s the real deal. The Cupertino giant will have the full service up and running next week.

The sources cautioned that, while Apple has set the launch date for next Monday, it could eventually get pushed back, as August 12 is only a “target date.”

9to5mac reports that the service will be complemented by a redesigned AppleCare website which, according to employees, “is designed to gel with Apple’s new iOS Device customers.”
