A new report from Korea aims to shed more light regarding the characteristics of the upcoming Apple iWatch, including its design.

Citing “industry watchers,” The Korea Herald reports that “The smart watch [is] unlikely to sport a curved screen.” Who better to cite on iWatch rumors if not industry watchers, right?

According to these people, “there would be no point in making a curved screen that would be at most 2 inches wide.” Which kind of makes sense, but not if you factor in the design aspect. The thing also needs to look good on people’s wrists, not just make for a handy tool. Otherwise, they won’t buy it.

“A curved display may also put strain on the wearer’s wrist if worn for a long time, they said,” the report adds.

Since when? I’m not hearing Nike Fuelband users complain about the circular design.
