Apple’s iMovie App Is Now Available for Download from the App Store

iMovie for iOS, an application Apple developed exclusively for iPhone 4 handset owners, is now available for download from the iTunes App Store. Priced at $4.99 and weighing in at a hefty 30MB, the software lets iPhone 4 owners do some interesting things with their videos, such as trimming the length, giving them personality with themes, music and pictures, and exporting them in different sizes.

“Make beautiful HD movies anywhere with iMovie, the fun, feature-rich video editing app for iPhone 4,” Apple describes its iMovie app. “Create a video postcard of your day at the beach and publish it to the web — without ever leaving your spot in the sand. Or make a movie of your child’s birthday party and send it to your parents — while the party is in full swing. With iMovie for iPhone, you can start several projects and finish them whenever you want and wherever you are.”

The Mac maker has posted a number of support documents in light of the new release, detailing the particularities of video exportation, explaining why videos are shared through the Camera Roll at a lower resolution and more.
