Re/Code reignites the old iWatch rumors and says it will show up earlier than expected

Apple will reportedly announce their wearable device in a September event. The information was confirmed and published by Re/Code. The website is a trusted source when it comes to Apple if you consider that one of their columnists, Walt Mossberg, had an interview with Tim Cook last week.

The news coming from Re/Code has obviously not been confirmed by anyone in Cupertino. Not in any official way, because Apple does not usually discuss future products.

Interestingly enough, the device would only be announced on September 9. That leaves it to be released anytime in the next days, up to months, after the announcement. Apple is expected to release such a device that has been named iWatch and iTime. The gadget may very well be just a bracelet filled with sensors that will send information to the iPhone's Health app.

Other reports have suggested that Apple's iWatch will have a not only rectangular, but square shape, and it should be about the size of the previous model of iPod nano.

One other important detail is that the same website had previously announced that Apple will tell everyone about the iWatch in October. The new date may have been moved to a closer date just because other big manufacturers are announcing their devices at the beginning of September.
