The fourth-generation iPad released by Apple in October 2012 is now available at a $50 discount on the company’s web store, in the Special Deals section. Two refurbished tablets are available with identical specs, but different color options.

The iPad 4 (as we, editors, call it for writing convenience) was deployed without too much fanfare late last year, only months after Apple had unveiled the first Retina-display iPad.

Boasting similar specs to the iPad 3, the fourth-generation model adds a faster processor, improved wireless connectivity, a slightly lighter chassis, and the new Lightning connector.

Two such iPad 4 units are up for grabs on Apple’s web store, each stamped with a $50 discount. The devices come with 64GB of Flash storage for $649.

The diminutive iPad mini is also available on the refurbs section of Apple’s online store. Discounts for the smaller tablets range from $30 to $40.
