Apple has released a PDF with its “Testimony Before the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations” which details how it pays taxes, and which includes a proposition on how the U.S. can simplify its corporate tax system.

In the document, Apple says it “appreciates the opportunity to testify before the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations […] in connection with its inquiry into the tax practices of multinational companies.”

Touting itself as a job creator, the company outlines that it creates revolutionary products that enrich people’s lives, “and pays billions of dollars annually to the US Treasury in corporate income and payroll taxes.”

Facing scrutiny for avoiding to pay taxes which it regards too big, Apple believes a comprehensive reform “would stimulate economic growth,” which would ultimately result in “Apple paying more U.S. corporate tax.”
