ifoAppleStore’s Gary Allen has obtained a snipped sent out by Apple’s new SVP of Retail operations to all retail employees.

An Apple store enthusiast, Allen makes it his job to find future locations, attend new store grand openings, and remark on store architecture, design, staffing and operations.

Apple Store employees who opened the Retail Me application last night were greeted by the message displayed above, Allen reports. This was John Browett's first contact with the retail team at Apple which, although sounded positive, sent shivers down some staffers’ spines, according to Allen.

The reason is most likely change. Most people are afraid of it. Plus, the snipped is a standard, corporate-style greeting memo that makes one think “surely it won’t be all that good”. And it probably won’t. It’s just standard phrasing.
