Apple has updated its Find My iPhone and Find My Friends applications with bug fixes, including some code corrections for an issue preventing non-developers from logging into the former app.

Apple's System Status page reveals that an error in Find My iPhone prevented users who don’t have developer credentials from logging in, but the issue has now been fixed.

On top of that, Apple throws in various other bug fixes and stability improvements for the software that pinpoints your iDevice on a map.

Find My Friends, the app that pinpoints your friends on a map, also got the “bug fixes and stability improvements,” though Apple is shy to elaborate. That’s ok, though. As long as it works as advertised.

Both apps go onto iPhones and iPads with iOS 5 installed, and you can grab them free of charge from the App Store right now.
