Apple's chief of everything iCloud is ready to take you to lunch and give you a MacBook Air. All you have to do is bid at least $10,000 (7346 Euros) on Charity Buzz.

The auction was set to end on July 16, 2014 around 2PM, but so far the highest bid of the 15 that were placed is $9,500. The money will go to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Foundation. This organization is helping middle-school-aged youth to follow their dream in a sports career.

Charity Buzz describes Edy Cue as the guy in charge of iTunes, AppStore, iBookstore, as well as Siri, Maps and iCloud services. They make sure to explain that Cue has been with the company for over 25 years and that he played a major role in creating the online store at apple.com in 1998, the iTunes Store in 2003 and the App Store in 2008. He also was involved in developing iLife applications like GarageBand, iPhoto and iMovie.

Edy Cue will invite you to Apple's Headquarters and buy your lunch. You can also bring a friend to enjoy this experience. The duration of the meeting is about 1 hour and the offer expires 1 year after the close of auction. Charity Buzz explains in the Fine Print that this cannot be resold or re-auctioned and that the travel and accommodations are not included. So you have to buy your own plane ticket and go to Cupertino, California.

The Auction gets you another gift to remember this trip: a 13-inch MacBook Pro with a 1.4GHZ Dual Core Intel Core i5 processor. The computer that has 4GB of SDRAM and a 256GB SSD retails for $1,199 (880 euro) + tax.

So far there are only 16 bids and one of the users seems really eager to win this. He raised the bid from $3,000 to $9,000 in less than two weeks although he was bidding against himself. However, he is not the higher bidder right now. At the moment we're posting this, the winner has posted a bid of $10,500.

According to 9to5mac, this is not the first time a high-ranked Apple official wants to help an organization. Apple's CEO Tim Cook got involved in two different auctions through Charitybuzz raising $610,000 for coffee and then $330,000 for a lunch invitation and an Apple event.

Charitybuzz is a website that got involved in helping organizations by offering meetings with celebrities or luxury items.
