German Optics company Leica has announced an upcoming limited edition camera imagined by none other than Apple’s chief of industrial design, Sir Jonathan Ive.

During Leica’s special event during which the new Leica M was announced, Dr. Andreas Kaufmann revealed plans to release a very special, limited edition version of the camera designed by Jony Ive, a legend in the industry.

A single unit will be produced, which makes you hope you won’t like it because otherwise you’ll probably have to donate some organs to buy it when it goes on auction. Jokes aside, the proceeds themselves will be donated to charity, when the auction goes live.

No launch date set for now but, as Petapixel puts it, if you’ve got an affinity for Apple designs and Leica solutions, as well as a considerable amount of cash laying around, keep your ears to the ground for a chance to own it.
