Many people spend big money for being the first ones to own Apple's iPhone

The iPhone has been announced to start selling sometime between the middle and the end of June. Surprisingly, first iPhones seem to have appeared on eBay on auction and are selling at a fast pace.

First news of the iPhone being available for an exclusive purchase from eBay have sprung out in the middle of May. Still, none of those that have placed a bid on the iPhone on this site actually know if the phone is really available and hold no guarantee that they will eventually receive it.

The suspect thing on the entire matter is that Apple currently holds this device under a major secrecy policy. Not even those working on the highest level at Apple don't own one, so there is little chance that anyone else would instead. Even more, eBay is actually warning the website's visitors that they should beware Apple iPhone scam auctions.

That is probably just the thing, as such auctions start and finish at an extremely fast pace, which makes it difficult to follow. Aside supposedly real mobile phones, eBay has even more other iPhone accessories.

What reaches the highest prices when it comes to auctions is the iPhone domain name hunt. There is a large number of domain names containing the name of Apple's future release for prices that range from USD 250 and up to USD 2,500. It shouldn't be surprising, though, as the craze for the iPhone is highly expected to boom immediately after the device's release.

Apple's only mobile phone has managed to raise bids up to USD 800 on some occasions and even USD 2,000 in others. This makes high, but not substantial numbers for the luxury phone model that will be selling for USD 500 (the 4GB model) and USD 600 (the 8GB model) from the 11th of June, this year.
